Tasting Note
Seña 2018 presents a refined, expressive profile, shaped by dark fruit, freshness and fine tannic structure. Cassis and blackberry form the main fruit core, with cedar and gentle spice adding depth. A light floral-herbal note brings lift, while earthy savoury detail gives the wine a more grounded character. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with polished fruit carried through a smooth, balanced frame. Its tannins are fine but firm, giving structure without hard edges, and freshness keeps the wine clear and energetic. There is concentration here, yet the wine remains elegant rather than heavy, with fruit, spice and savoury detail moving together in a controlled way. The middle of the palate feels complete and well shaped, supported by depth, freshness and refined grip. It shows power through harmony and texture rather than weight. The finish is long and composed, carrying dark fruit, cedar and fine tannic presence. A graceful and structured Seña with freshness, refined tannins and lasting length.
